Efficient cause

I'm feeling unusually worn at the moment; it may have something to do with all of my activity today (in addition to having been sick for two weeks). After attending class, I ran off to 4848 St-Laurent to pay a debt of fifty dollars that I owed the manager of the venue for the Xmas party. After that, I doubled back to the University library to look-up the addresses of various grad schools, replied to some e-mail regarding the FMWL weekend, and invited some friends (M.O, J.S, F.S, and A.N) out dancing this Friday.

In any event, I've mailed the final bit of paperwork that I owed Carleton and McGill Universities; now they only need to wait for my final references and my official transcripts to arrive before making their decisions. In the mean time, I've been spending a bit of time contemplating some points brought-up by Prof. Gurd this morning, regarding Aeschylus' Agamemnon and its disjointed sense of time and causality.
