Sticking a fork in Hesiod

Today is the day to be done with the paper which is owed to Prof. Emberley. I've hit an intractable roadblock in the analysis of Hesiod which won't be dissolved without one of the following: a) a comparative analysis with the anonymously authored A Dispute Over Suicide out of Egypt, in which the crucial breakthrough is attained which Hesiod doesn't quite manage; b) launching into a lengthy analysis of the historiogenetic character of the Theogony and the related Catalogues of Women & Eoiae; c) getting much deeper into the philosophy of language in order to analyze the inherent paradoxes and tensions of mythos and logos.

For the moment, I'll let my subconscious work on the problem while I sit in the computer lab and attend distally to other things.
