Old books

I've made a few interesting finds in the used-book stores on Stanley Street over the last few days. Over the weekend, I managed to pick-up a hardcover compilation of the major works of Plato, translated by Howlett, for a mere $10cdn. Today, while browsing a second shop across the street from the first, I found complete, hard-cover compilation of the works of Aristotle, a second-edition, hard-cover copy of "The History of Political Philosophy" with editor Leo Strauss, and one unexpected find - a soft-cover copy of "Plato" by Eric Voegelin; all-in-all, I spent $43.65cdn for the lot - less than I've spent on any single (nigh' useless) University textbook.

Please, make of that what you will...
