South and south again

The funeral has come and gone, speeches were made, words were read, dirges were sung, and the reverend had to be rushed to the hospital after the service; all in all, a typical Irish ceremony. I was a bit shocked when A-M.B. suprised me after the service, I hadn't known or expected her to be there, though I was very relieved by her presence - and by B.K., and F.N.'s as well, the latter whom arrived for the wake. 'Quite a bit of unexpected, but touching stuff.

Tomorrow, the family and I travel south to scout the area where my mother wished to be put the rest, nearby the final resting place of my great-grandmother.
