Apples are not immortal.

On the occasion of this day, I spent a few hours at Concordia's Webster library compiling the bibliography for a paper on Canadian politics & society, following which I caught a bite to eat with F.N, and then taught a class in introductory swing-dancing with F. and Nav. which ended with an extended segway into blues music and Canadian history (for Nav's benefit, of course).

Late tonight, after a brief stopover at "Chapters" with N., I returned home and found a bottle of 100% natural, preservative free apple-juice that my mom must have left in the fridge months ago. Since then, it has fermented into something that definitely isn't apple-juice. Naturally, I put it back into the fridge to await the next cocktail party I happen to have; it's a drunken dare waiting to happen. :-)
